Contractors have moved onto site at the entrance to the Parkwood Industrial Estate off Rutland Road to begin construction of a new 30,000 sq.ft. warehouse facility on behalf of Travis Perkins subsidiary, CCP.

This is the last phase in the development of the estate owned by leading UK property investment fund Barings who acquired the estate from Aviva and have since spent a considerable sum of money refurbishing and renewing parts of the estate.

Joint letting agent’s Campbell and Company and Knight Frank, Sheffield represented Barings whilst Travis Perkins in house property team advised the occupier. Alastair Campbell noted ‘ this is one of the first speculative warehouse pre-lets to have been agreed in Sheffield for the past 5 years and we are delighted to have secured such a good tenant for what is a prominent strategic site’.
