Don Valley Success for Campbell & Co.

Posted on Thursday, 02 August 2007 04:25PM by Alastair Campbell
After the recent flooding problems in Sheffield, Campbell and Co., specialist commercial property consultants, are now able to report the firest and largest success and/or confidence in the Lower Don Valley area of the city by announcing the successful sale of the former Autoworld car dealership to Pentagon Motor Group, the regional based car dealership.

The sale was completed despite the fact that many properties in the immediate area were marginally affected by the floodwaters which have now receded.

The purchaser confirmed that in their opinion this was a once in a lifetime event and their confidence in the location was not dented by recent events. This is still the best location in the city for car sales.

Alastair Campbell principal at Campbell and Co. comments - we are delighted that despite recent difficulties Pentagon have had the confidence to see through with this purchase. With Savile House undergoing refurbishment as a major office scheme and Tesco's looking to establish a major presence directly across the road from the Auotwold site, I am confident that the site will prove a successful trading location for the company in the months and years to come.

We are perhaps the best consultancy in the city at dealing with or finding sites for automotive, trade counter and business uses being 100% alert to market opportunities.

In other news a new development,G4, situated in a prominent position on the city centre/wicker end of carlisle street in the burngreave new deal district is under way. 1,000 - 10,000 sq ft of offices will be available from £10 psf pax. phase 1 is already complete with phase 2 already under way. Full completion on the former brewery and engineering works is due to be sometime early 2008.  Further news will be available shortly.
