First Major Commercial Letting in 2009

Acting on behalf of national developer Watkin Jones, Campbell and Co. have secured the first major commercial letting for 2009, beating all of it's national rivals, to secure One Medicare for Watkin's mixed use scheme at the junction of Rockingham Street with Broad Lane on the fringe of the Sheffield City centre.

The scheme known as Rockingham House comprises approximately 18,000 sq.ft. of space over 2 levels and is now being fitted out as a new walk in GP surgery for the citizens of Sheffield.

The scheme is being sponsored by the Sheffield PCT as part of an national initiative.

' We are delighted to have found an excellent occupier for our client's in such a prominent city centre building. We still have a small area within the whole which could be used for ancilliary medical uses such as a dentist, optician, pilates/yoga studio or similar and will be going to the market to try and secure this final occupier.'

The scheme is to be operational by 1st April 2009.
